Chicken Breasts with Mastic Crust

The aroma of the mastic gives a unique taste to chicken breasts.  Serve with rice or a green salad.  A perfect light and flavorful meal!

Ingredients:

2 chicken fillets
5 tbs dried breadcrumbs
5 grains of mastic
6 tbs fresh butter
3 tbs crushed pistachio nuts

Procedure:

Preheat oven at 200° C.

1.  Crush the mastic with the salt by hand or in a blender and turn into a paste with the butter, the breadcrumbs and the pistachios.

2.  Bake the chicken  in the oven with a little butter until the meat tightens

3.  Spread the mastic paste over one side of the chicken to form a centimeter-thick layer.

4.  Bake for 10 minutes .
