Βorn in Athens on the 15th of May, 1977. His love for delicate aromas became obvious when he demanded to have a nose operation, so that he could smell them better; at that time he was only 3 years old.

After having finished the Classical Lyceum of Anavryta, he went to London to study. Four years later, he returned to Greece with a Law and Business Studies degree and a new gourmet food and wine addiction. After making a professional passage through the field of publications and the shipping industry, he decided to get involved with commerce. Thus, he founded a food and wine distribution company.

At the same time he was studying at the Athens branch of London’s Wine and Spirit Education Trust, globally valued as the best educational organization of its kind. His teacher and mentor there was, and still is, Mr. Konstantinos Lazarakis MW. Trying to make something out of the knowledge he was gaining and his love for writing, he started issuing articles on wine, on internet sites and magazines; he ended up doing it for a living.

A longtime Gourmed editor & Gourmedian he follows his aromatic journey through wines & spirits .
