Walnut cookies
The most appealing aspect of this cookie recipe is the ease with which you can make it. A perfect option if you feel like cooking something, don't want to get your kitchen too dirty, and want to treat others at the same time. Take them to the office to share with your colleagues, make them for your roommates, or bake them as a family treat!
Ingredients:
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 4 tbsp confectioners sugar
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 50 gr (1 3/4 oz) unsweetened chocolate
- 35 half walnuts
Procedure:
Preheat oven to 170°C.
Beat oil and sugar and stir in the flour.
Melt chocolate in double boiler or bain-marie and add to dough.
Mix well to form a soft dough. Put in the fridge to cool for 30 minutes.
Pinch off small portions and form into small round balls.
Place on cookie sheet lined with wax paper, leaving ample space between them.
Press a half walnut in center of each cookie.
Bake in moderate oven for about 12-15 minutes.
