Fresh Fig and Anthotiro Dessert

Anthotyro is a fresh, ricotta-like greek cheese. It is traditionally used as a table or dessert cheese and as an ingredient in stuffed pies becuae it goes well with fruits such as figs, pears, and apples.
Ingredients:
2/3 cup butter
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
2/3 cup anthotiro or ricotta cheese
1 cup ground almonds
1 pound fresh figs quartered
1/4 cup pine nuts
Procedure:
Preheat the oven to 300° F.
1. Beat the butter with the sugar in the mixer until it becomes fluffy.
2. Add the eggs one by one.
3. Add the cheese, and the almonds.
4. Pour the mixture in a tin or flame proof dish and spread the figs on the top.
5. Bake for 30 minutes; sprinkle the pine nuts over the figs and bake for another 15 more minutes.
